Please join the BPNA Beautification Committee as we partner with the City of Richardson to help clean up Berkner Park Neighborhood on Saturday, April 26th in the Annual Trash Bash event. Trash Bash is a citywide annual event, and 2014 marks the 20th year the City of Richardson has held the cleanup day and the second year that BPNA has participated. The Beautification Committee’s theme is to “Keep Berkner Park Beautiful” and Trash Bash is an excellent opportunity to work with the City to meet the committee’s goal to improve the neighborhood we live in.
This is a commendable event and your help is needed to make it a success. Volunteers are needed to pick up trash in the neighborhood between 9 and 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26th. The City of Richardson will provide the trash bags and gloves to hand out to Berkner Park volunteers. Volunteers will meet at the Berkner Park Pavilion to sign in, get street assignments, gloves and trash bags before heading out to pick up trash in the neighbor- hood. Following the event, all participants are invited to the Trash Bash “After Party” host- ed by the City of Richardson at the Civic Center where refreshments and door prizes will be provided. It’s going to be a fun and rewarding event, so please plan to help clean up Berkner Park on April 26.
If you would like to volunteer for Trash Bash or have questions about the event, please email the Beautification Committee at Beautification@berknerpark.com.
