Our annual business and recognition awards meeting is just one week away. Meeting details are listed below. The agenda for the meeting is attached.

Where: The Lecture Hall @ L. V. Berkner High School
(enter center doors on E. Spring Valley Road)
Pizza, courtesy of Papa John’s Pizza, will be available at 6 p.m. Iced bottled water, fresh baked cookies, and a variety of chips will also be available.
The meeting’s keynote speaker will be Michael Spicer, Director of Development Services. Mr. Spicer’s department is responsible for projects involving transportation and land use issues in the City of Richardson. The department has three divisions: Planning, Development and Engineering, and Traffic and Transportation. Development Services also oversees the City Plan Commission, as well as, The Zoning Board of Adjustment, and is an important participant in most public hearings. In general, the department performs the planning and evaluation process concerning land use zones, business permits, traffic flow patterns, etc., and presents recommendations to City Council when considering any action with regard to these or like matters.
If you have a question, want to state a concern, or just simply want to learn more about how the city manages many of the everyday conditions that may affect your daily life, or have an impact on our fine city including our neighborhood, this is your opportunity to directly interact with the department responsible for managing many of these conditions.
