{"id":2073,"date":"2018-08-13T20:09:02","date_gmt":"2018-08-14T02:09:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/berknerpark.com\/?p=2073"},"modified":"2018-10-22T17:54:34","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T23:54:34","slug":"national-night-out-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/berknerpark.com\/production\/national-night-out-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"National Night Out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>National Night Out (NNO) is Tuesday, October 2.\u00a0 NNO is annual event coordinated by the Richardson Police Department&#8217;s Crime Prevention Unit held on the first Tuesday in October.\u00a0 NNO is a community campaign designed to: (1) heighten crime prevention awareness; (2) generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs; (3) strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and (4) send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organize and watching.<\/p>\n<p>NNO block party registration is now open. Officers will be out visiting registered parties and collecting can food donations for the their &#8220;Can Do&#8221; project that helps the Network of Community Ministries food pantry.
