When:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tuesday, October 24 (enter center doors on E. Spring Valley Road)<\/em><\/p>\n Pizza, courtesy of Papa John\u2019s Pizza, will be available at 6 p.m.\u00a0 Iced bottled water, fresh baked cookies, and a variety of chips will also be available.<\/strong><\/p>\n The meeting\u2019s keynote speaker will be Michael Spicer, Director of Development Services.\u00a0 Mr. Spicer\u2019s department is responsible for projects involving transportation and land use issues <\/strong>in the City of Richardson<\/em>.\u00a0 <\/strong>The department has three divisions: Planning, Development and Engineering, and Traffic and Transportation<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Development Services also oversees the City Plan Commission<\/strong>, as well as, The Zoning Board of Adjustment<\/strong>, and is an important participant in most public hearings. <\/strong>\u00a0In general, the department performs the planning and evaluation process concerning land use zones, business permits, traffic flow patterns, etc., and presents recommendations to City Council when considering any action with regard to these or like matters.<\/p>\n If you have a question, want to state a concern, or just simply want to learn more about\u00a0 how the city manages many of the everyday conditions that may affect your daily life, or have an impact on our fine city including our neighborhood, this is your opportunity to directly interact with the department responsible for managing many of these conditions.\u00a0 This will be an informative meeting you don\u2019t want to miss!\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\nDownload Agenda
