The Berkner Park Neighborhood Association August 2014 Yard of the Month is awarded to Irma and Terry Stephenson at 1930 Baltimore Drive.
The lovely landscaped yard contains well-appointed color bursts of red and white flowers that immediately draw your attention. Upon a closer look many hidden garden gems are revealed, such as the fine natural stone edging, beautifully placed greenery, and an enchanting engraved stone paver. Irma and Terry enjoy doing all their own gardening and work well as a team. Irma selected this season’s red and white color scheme and Terry often comes up with new gardening ideas to try. The Stephenson’s moved into their Berkner Park home 10 years ago and have been working year after year to maintain and improve the yard. They established the lush St. Augustine grass several years ago and recently planted a lovely Chinese pistachio tree to complete the shaded setting. Congratulations Irma and Terry and thank you for helping keep Berkner Park Beautiful.
