We have four recognition awards to be made, i.e. Star Volunteer, Star Sponsor, and two Good Neighbor Awards. Texas House Representative, District 102, Ana-Maria Ramos, is confirmed as the meeting’s featured speaker. Representative Ramos will be providing a legislative update. She would also like to hear your concerns and answer your questions. Our meeting is also posted on City Council’s official calendar. City Councilman Bob Dubey has already confirmed he will attend the meeting.
Refreshments will be available starting at 6 p.m. Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers is donating chicken fingers and sauces. Kroger Grocery Store is donating bottled water and ice, snack-size bags of potato chips, and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.
As a reminder, member attendance has been a little low for some of our recent membership meetings. We had a good turnout for our last meeting. We need to have another good turnout for this meeting. Representative Ramos, and our City Council members, are in high demand and have full schedules. As previously stated, low turnout for our meetings could negatively impact our ability to secure future meeting speakers. This would hinder our ability to provide you with timely high quality information.
Hope to see you at the meeting!
